Cuidado features emerging artists based in the Southwestern region of North America, taking its name from the road-stop warning signs for rattlesnakes. This zine is a platform to bring a different awareness to the concepts, themes and aesthetics explored by artists who are shaped by the region in various ways.
Issue #1 features work from Rob Mesa, Ageliki Klonis, Jake Trujillo, Sandra Wang, Catie Soldan, Izzy Morones, Christel Davies, Nathan Hollis and with cover illustration by Topiz.
Issue #2 features work from Ruben Gomez, Yvette Serrano, Gabriel Maestas, Kevin Bond, Chaz John, Marina Eskeets, Mara Francesca Padilla, and D'ali.
Issue #3 features work from Conor Flynn, Carmen Selam, Justin Clifford Rhody, Pico del Hierro Villa, Christin Apodaca, Will Schreitz, Donald Wayne Garrett Jr., Ryan Dennison, and Daisy Quezada Ureña.
Issue #4 features work from Kuwani, Sarah Ferber, Eric Romero, Kate Stringer, Emmanuelle John, Izzai Fausto Martinez Angulo, Nora Vanesky, and Ryan T Cook.
